    just wanted to point out to you and your readers that the stamps that come with this catalog are not free. they are “on approval”, meaning if you like them, you keep them and send a check. if you don’t like them, you mail them back in the postage-paid envelope the company provides.

    keeping stamps on approval is essentially stealing from the company. many beginning collectors and non-collectors do not realize this.

    i apologize for sounding preachy. i had a relative give me the stamps she got in the mail, because she did not understand that they either have to paid for or returned. mystic stamp is a wonderful company from which i have purchased in the past and they give stamps on approval on a trust-basis.
