I`ve never been much into head bands. I find that the ones that just sit on your head (kind of a U shape rather than closed off) hurt right behind my ears and the ones that are completely closed all around just slip and fall off. This is coming from someone with thick hair. Well recently I discovered the ultimate sports and fitness headband called Sweaty Bands. Not only did I get to try one, but I have an extra one to send to one of you!
Sweaty Bands are the number one fitness headbands in the world and the hottest accessory on the planet! The simple design gives you a no-slip solution to top off any look. We offer more than a thousand colors, patterns and print combinations that empower women and girls to express their unique style. Sweaty Bands grip and hold your hair during the most strenuous of workouts, all without slipping, tugging or pulling. From yoga classes or marathons to hanging out with friends or happy hour, Sweaty Bands are a must for your workouts or everyday wear.

How do I wear a Sweaty Band?

It fits like any other headband. The difference is your Sweaty won’t slip. Start by putting it over your head and wearing it like a necklace. Then, slide the elastic band to the back of your head and the decorative ribbon up toward your hairline. Tuck the band behind your ears. You can adjust the band until it fits snuggly. Some ladies and girls find it is most comfortable close to their foreheads; others are able to push it further back. Once it feels snug, you’ll be able to shake your head, jump around and take on the most intense workouts without any worries. Your Sweaty Band will be right where you left it!
So what are my thoughts? I wore my Sweaty Band throughout the day after it came in. The band felt very comfortable on my head and stayed in place, just as it said it would. I didn`t use mine to work out where I broke a sweat, but the way the bands are made you can tell it`s to help absorb the sweat before it drips in your fave. Normally bands like this fall out my hair and are made with thin material. These on the other hand have a slight thicker material, sort of like a light padding, which is what absorbs the sweat rather than it just getting soaked and falling. Would I recommend these? Definitely! If not for keeping the sweat away, definitely for style and comfort! Then again, who has to choose when you get all that in one?
If you`re interested in purchasing a sweat band, they have all kinds of styles and colors to choose from. If you still don`t like any of those then you get the option to customize your band. Pretty neat right? My favorite thing about these bands is that they are made in the USA! I love supporting items made in my own country as I know many others do. So this is also an opportunity to support our American made products as well!
