At the end of a long, hard, busy day there's nothing more enjoyable than a warm shower to relax in and enjoy. Tune out the sounds of the children running loose, hollering and screaming, and just relax. As many of you are parents I'm sure you can relate to the every day stress of parenthood. It doesn't mean I don't enjoy being a mom by any means, but I certainly do enjoy taking a step back and relaxing after a busy day. Well recently I discovered a new shampoo and decided to give it a try during my relaxation time as I so proudly call it; a.k.a. - my shower. I discovered a refreshing Dead Sea Mud Shampoo. I know, that sounds completely crazy and off the wall, but I love trying new odd ball, off the wall things.
Adovia's Dead Sea Mud Shampoo is specially formulated with natural ingredients such as Dead Sea Mud, Chamomile & Olive Oil to bring deep hydration and moisture to the scalp, relieving itching and flakiness. Dead Sea Mud has been known for centuries for it's healing properties and people travel from all over the world to come and experience it's effects at the Dead Sea. Dead Sea Salts and Mud have been featured on CNN, in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. Dead Sea Mud contains the highest concentration of minerals found in mud anywhere in the world. Finally the benefits of Dead Sea mud and salt are presented to you in shampoo form! These minerals are all essential for proper skin function and help to regulate moisture retention as well as hydration. You complete satisfaction is guaranteed.
The name of the shampoo caught my attention - dead sea mud shampoo. I was almost wondering if I'd be getting a bottle of mud to use, but hey, I was up for the challenge of checking it out. Well much to my surprise it was like other shampoos as far as the texture goes and was not mud. Silly thought right? So luckily I wasn't spending hours getting mud and sea stuff out my hair, so if that is your fear of trying this product, rest assured you're safe! What the shampoo does contain is the highest concentration of minerals that are found in mud. So basically you get the benefits of using mud without the slop and the mess.
I gave my shampoo a try and was surprised by how great it smelled. While I didn't find it to leave that same great scent in my hair, I did feel like my hair is actually clean despite that. I also feel like my hair came out softer and smoother, which is pretty good considering we live in the city and tend to have that hard water. I tend to have naturally frizzy hair and I don't know if it's just by coincidence or has to do with the shampoo, but my hair was hardly frizzy after the wash. Usually that's when the frizz really stands out. Again, another plus. Ultimately I love the shampoo! It smells great and makes me feel good when using it. It's also known to help with itchy, dry scalp as well. Luckily I don't have those issues to be able to honestly review that aspect. All in all I had an excellent experience with the shampoo and would definitely recommend giving it a try. It's well worth it!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
