Enchanting Wedding Lantern Center Pieces

(From August 2012) I just posed about my Orchid Wedding Tree for my bridal table so here`s what I made for the rest of my tables: Enchanting Wedding lanterns! These were fun and easy to make! Just time consuming to make 20 of them! I bought a bunch of the small carriage lanterns,Lilly padsacrylic diamonds and hot pink candles. I used rubber cement to paste the candles in place in the lanterns to hold and then put a light layer of acrylic diamonds around the candle.

To make the lantern a bit more "enchanting" I added the Lilly Pad under each one which I found at Michaels for $7.99 each. Then as an even extra add on (not pictured) I found some boxes of rose soap flowers. It comes with 9 in a pack at the Dollar Tree. Putting two of those white flowers on the side of the lanterns at an angle just really made it come out and perfect it! Thanks to my B.F.F. and maid of Honor, Cierra, for pointing that part out!
