From my experience, changing the cabinet doors can make a huge difference. Of course, if you want to go all the way you can as RTA sells actual cabinets and not just the doors and at pretty affordable prices! We had painted ours with some cabinet paint a few years back. It turned out great at the time, however, over the years, having kids and pets, really took its toll on the cabinets and they honestly need to be replaced. We have been talking about doing about updating ours as soon as we get a chance. Since our kitchen isn't huge, we wanted to have lighter colors to brighten the space to give the look and feel of having a bigger kitchen. Since our kitchen wall is already a "butter yellow" color, we were thinking maybe white cabinets. OR we were thinking or re-touching up the yellow so it looks nice and bright again then going with maybe a cherry wood color. Either way, it is something on our "to do" list.
How have you updated your space this year?
