Your scarf was created using a traditional Japanese method known as Shibori, a process of dyeing cloth in which stitching, binding, folding, and compressing are used to create the desired geometric and tie-dye patterns. The intricacies of this demanding craft have been passed down through many generations to the women whose hands expertly crafted your new piece. Your scarf’s soft and lightweight cotton, along with its large long shape make it endlessly versatile and appropriate year-round. Wrap around the neck, or use as a shawl or over-the-shoulder throw.
