Are you a fan of pumpkin pie? What about chocolate? If you said yes to both of those questions, you're about to fall head over heels for our recipe today: Pumpkin Pie Truffles.
That's right. We're fusing together creamy, pumpkin pie filling with indulgent dark chocolate. Together they make for a foodie moment you won't forget, and the only thing you may be left with is slight regret after eating a few too many. We don't blame you for that though, they are bite-sized, after all. And just one more of a healthier dessert never really hurt anyone...did it?
Now that your mouth is probably watering and you're thinking can we get to it already?...We bring to you the recipe itself. Prepared? Of course, you are. Let's do this.
Time For The Recipe...
This recipe is made up of less than 8 ingredients and consists of only 3 main steps. Can it get any better than that? We're not sure.
- 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 6 Tbsp Coconut Butter
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup Organic Non-GE
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
- 1 tsp Nutmeg Powder
- 1 Cup Cacao Nibs Organic (Melted)
- Mix together the ingredients in a bowl, until a smooth paste forms.
- Place in the fridge so that it can become semi-solid to roll into balls. (About 20-30 minutes)
- Remove and roll into bite sized balls.
- Dip in melted chocolate.
- Let cool.
- Eat as many as your heart desires!
