Bathtime Beauty Queen DIY
Whether you are a morning person, evening person, or a “Can this day be over already?” person, some me time is needed no matter what. And when it comes to treating yourself, we’re firm believers in the power of a good bath and an equally beneficial face mask. What’s more, we don’t believe that these items need to cost you a bunch or warrant the swipe of your credit card at a high-end spa…no, a little DIY love and you’ll have your own personal spa at home. With that in mind, we went to work on bringing you three different spa pairings to provide you that much needed TLC. Each includes a DIY bath salt recipe and an all-natural face mask to bring you the ultimate self-care package.

The Post-Work Warrior Bath
You conquered your daily routine and now need to let loose. We have your back. Here’s a quick bath salt recipe made from Lavender Chamomile Fragrance Oil to celebrate doing what you do best and killin’ it. The lavender will relieve your mind of those tough deadlines and the chamomile will transport your spirit back to a carefree time in childhood. Make this one, this way:

The Weekend Chill Bath
When the weekend finally arrives, it’s no guess you’ll want some freshening up. Let our soothing bath salt recipe made from 100% Patchouli Light Pure Essential oil and Cedarwood 100% Pure Essential Oil to relax your mind and body. The patchouli oil will alleviate the week’s stress while the Cedarwood will brush off negative energies and ease your mind. Whip this one up similar to the above but subbing in the new oils:
- Combine 1 cup of Himalayan Sea Salt with ½ cup of Baking Soda
- Mix in 10 drops of 100% Patchouli Light Pure Essential Oil and 10 drops of Cedarwood 100% Pure Essential Oil
- Blend together in a jar
- Use now and save the rest for next time!
Au Natural Mask (Pair with all the above baths)!
No bath would be complete without a calming face mask! So, naturally, we had to add in a recipe to create a universally loved skin rejuvenator. Here’s how to get a terrific mask in 3 steps:
- Mix 1 tablespoon of Kaolin (White) Clay with one tablespoon of water
- Once a paste has formed, apply evenly over face and neck
- Let sit 15-20 minutes, rinse off with warm water, enjoy that glow!
Now that we set you up with some pretty great recipes to own it during your next “me time” session, we can’t see any excuse to not indulge your senses…like, today.
