**This review is one I am doing out of my own pocket and money. I purchased this computer on my own and chose to write a review on it. No company sponsorship was involved.
I am always on the computer. Mostly working on blogs and stuff, other times just browsing around on my other favorite sites.Well usually after about 3 or 4 years I end up purchasing a new computer. It`s not the newest on the market, just one that`s a bit more up to date. Recently I switched from my Dell all in one
to an HP TouchSmart 320-1050 Desktop Computer.
|Excuse the messy desk, just move the other computer around and never quite got to finish cleaning!
Ever since the all in one computers came out I loved them. No more bulky screen and computer taking up the whole desk, just one piece. Meaning, more room to keep office supplies or other "desk clutter". My Dell was my first all in one. It was a nice computer but recently was having trouble keeping up with all my work I do online. I generally work with multiple tabs open and multi-task online. The dell had 4GB of RAM (the stuff that makes your computer run, the more you have the better for running multiple/large programs) and 640GB hard drive (the place all your software and downloads and such are stored). The new HP I just purchased has 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. Also, a big noticeable difference is that this one is also touch screen!

|Where you write your note on the screen
Ok, so what are my thoughts? Obviously I either love something or hate it if I choose to write about it without a sponsorship. I love the computer! It runs faster than my previous, which is quite noticeable. It`s still just as easy to use as the other one as far as use goes, but it also has more complex options. I can have either your typical desktop or I can have the one which shows the carousel of icons at the bottom. Need to leave a note for someone? You can do so right on your computer! Objects can easily be added or removed to your work space. The larger screen is also great for viewing items online.
|How it actually appears on screen when done, you can move it to where ever on the screen
When I purchased my computer I also purchased a Belkin data transfer cable
for only $15 on Amazon (or $25 at my local Best Buy). This cable makes it easy to transfer all your old data, photos, music, videos, etc to your new computer. Now some software I did have to go re-download again. The overall transfer though took about 2 hours to move about 200GB worth of data. Not too bad!
This machine has the AMD Llano fusion based quad-core processor (A6) with integrated video. The processor performance is good and the graphics is excellent. Other than heavy video-editing or hard-core gaming - This machine will do just about anything. This was by far the most straightforward and painless setup as far as computer set ups go. You just have to plug it in and press the power button. Your keyboard and mouse will connect wirelessly automatically. One confusing thing is that the instructions show a bluetooth adapter that you have to plug-in, there isn`t one because you don`t need one. I admit, I spent a good few minutes and almost getting frustrated that I couldn`t find the darn piece! But then I realized it`s all built in so I didn`t need that after all! You do have to go through the process of registering your machine and the whole initial set-up process which takes a few minutes but is very straight forward. The utilities installed to help with setup and maintenance/Support allow the user to quickly get the PC setup and running. The HP support and maintenance utility that`s included works great and helps insure that the latest drivers & updates are installed.

The computer is still new to me and I`m still feeling it out, but needless to say I`m very excited about it and thrilled to finally have my HP touch screen! I`ve been wanting one and finally had the opportunity to purchase one. It came with both the wireless mouse and wireless keyboard as well, my first time owning my own! Quite impressed! Oh, did I mention that this one has wireless BUILT IN?! My other dell didn`t offer that --which we never worried about until I moved it to my craft desk in the front room and realized no internet there! DARN! Another plus, I notice my 6 in 1 card reader on the HP reads easier than the one on the dell. My dell made it tricky to get the SD card in sometimes. Not because of placement or anything of the reader, just how it functioned. The HP I can easily slide the card in and that`s that. I`m always taking photos for my jewelry making and reviews and just every day life so this was something huge to consider for me as well.
|wireless mouse --I need a new mouse pad --anyone want to pass one along?
So if it isn`t already obvious, I am VERY pleased with my new computer and can`t wait to dig into it some more to discover other cool features! If you`re a blogger who multi-tasks often, trust me, this is a must have! Everyone else, you`ll love it as well!
Do you have HP Touchsmart? What cool discoveries have you made about it?
|Wireless keyboard, NO WIRES!
As in things I didn`t write in the whole review
- My photo upload time is much faster on this computer compared to my last.
- I noticed when I was clearing out the "system clutter" that the program itself froze up for a minute. This did not affect my use while I was uploading photos and working on this blog post.
- While I think speakers will always sound better than the original built-in speakers on a computer, I do think the beats audio that`s included is a big improvement from the original built in speakers dell had to offer.
