Painting with a Twist (Mandeville, New Orleans, Metairie and Baton Rouge) is hosting a Book Drive. The beneficiary of this book drive is the Young Audiences Charter School at Kate Middleton. This non-profit organization charter school is located in our neighboring area of Gretna, Louisiana.
“Young Audiences of Louisiana has led the state of Louisiana in arts education and quality after-school programs for over 40years. The arts-integrated curriculum reflects recent research from the arts education field that provides significant evidence of the value of the arts in the learning process.â€
So, Painting with a Twist decided to help enhance the Young Audience’s school library by running this book drive and trying to fill these empty shelves! Please consider donating new or your children’s gently used books for Pre-K through 3rd grade.
You may drop off your donations at any of these 4 PWAT locations: Mandeville, New Orleans, Metairie or Baton Rouge.
For every 5 KIDS books that you donate, you will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE PARTY (10 seats) at one of these 4 PWAT locations: Mandeville, New Orleans, Metairie and Baton Rouge.
The winner will be drawn and announced on July 15th!
