I had a reader email a question inquiring specifically about selling CBD products from home, which inspired me to write this post for others who may be looking to do the same.
CBD products have been known to help many people for a variety of reasons, which is what makes them so attractive for people to buy. The biggest struggle is finding the right CBD product for you. Some brands are better than others and some simply work better for other people. It just all depends! A lot of trial and error usually goes into finding the right product for your needs.
With that said, finding the right company to sell CBD goes the same way. You may like to sell for multiple companies for a variety of reasons or you may find a single company that you like.

CBD DIRECT SALES COMPANIES

I have been selling Avon for a few years now and LOVE their products! Over the past few years, a lot of changes have taken place, including selling some CBD products. It’s a small line of products, but nice ones at that. At least, to me!
Currently, Avon is allowing users to join as an independent representative for FREE! This has been an offer for a while now, but I’m not sure how long it will last as you used to have to pay to join.
As a representative, you can earn a 25% COMMISSION on beauty orders from customers and a discount when you buy for yourself. Plus, you can get a $20 BONUS for every $200 in sales each campaign, a $50 BONUS for the 1st $500 in sales, and an extra 10% BONUS for 1st $1,000 in sales. You also get access to exclusive offers and discounts on major brands and rewards as you achieve your goals.
COUNTRY NATURALS - SHOP | JOIN MY TEAM | LIKE MY FACEBOOK
I have been with Country Naturals for a few years now. Personally, I like their products and enjoy watching the brand grow from when they were brand new to where they are at today.
As an independent consultant with Country Naturals, there are No Signup Fees, No Monthly Fees, a 25% Discount on all your orders, Commissions from sales on your Store, and Extra Giveaways and Bonuses throughout the year.
However, you will need to make at LEAST a single purchase from your shop every 3 months OR convert at least $1 of any earned commissions into a voucher (which is how you are able to use your earned commissions on products if you want, rather than getting a payout – this is optional). If I don’t have a need to purchase anything, I just convert over $1 of my commission and then use it when I am ready to shop. No big deal for me.

I have only been using this company for a short time, but I love the support I get from my account manager. This isn’t like other affiliate networks. They have a variety of offers. However, this post is about CBD and they do currently have a program for CBD called FOCL where you can make some commission if you sell this one particular item.
PIPING ROCK - SHOP | JOIN AS AN AFFILIATE (Click rewards on the menu bar at top right)
I have not personally ever tried the CBD products from Piping Rock (yet), however, I have been using their essential oils for YEARS as fragrance oils and LOVE them! This company is attractive because of its low price point and a wide variety. When you join the Piping Rock Affiliate program, you can share the products you love with your friends and family, They receive a discount and you earn Rewards Money to use on future purchases or get cash.
As an affiliate, first-time customers will save $5 on orders under $40 and $10 on orders $40 or more! You'll earn up to 8% of their cart's order total in Rewards Money for all their purchases for the first year and 4% every year following every time they shop. Earn Rewards Money from existing customers when they buy products they never purchased before.

SELLING TIPS
Try Your Products
I always advise if you are going to sell a product, you should know your product. If you can, purchase a few of the items the brand you are promoting sells and try it for yourself. The best way to sell is to be able to fully back and support the item. If it works for you – tell your audience just that! If you found a way to use it or found a particular use of the item – that’s what you want to share!
Party
This option requires you to have some money to spend upfront. However, if you have a lot of friends and family that you think would be interested, you could order some products and host a party. At the party, you could allow your friends and family to try the items and then purchase them directly from you. For this option, you would want to either charge them a higher cost (so you can make a profit) or have your affiliate link on hand to have them pull up your site and order so you can get credit for it.
If your affiliate company allows you to shop through your own link, you will also get a commission from your own purchase!
TIP: Keep track of the amount you are spending versus the amount you are making. I suggest sticking with a program for at least 6 months to a year. This will tell you if the program you are with is worth sticking with or if you should cut your losses and move on. StoreFront
If you have a storefront or a booth, this would go along with the Party option. You would purchase products in advance and resell them at your store at a higher cost for a profit.
Social Media
Sharing product deals and information on social media is FREE. You do not need to purchase inventory to share and promote, which is why this is a simple and easy option. You don’t have the expense of paying for your own website with this. You just make a free account, if you do not already have one, and that’s it!
Something to note, Facebook frowns upon sharing CBD products. In fact, it will get you a violation, among the many other growing lists of things. So, I recommend using other social media to share your products and brand. The same goes for Instagram because they are owned by Facebook. While I find you can get away with a bit more on there, I still personally would not risk it for the time being until things change.

Websites and Blogs
An excellent way to promote your products is on your own website, eCommerce Site, or blog. I would recommend reviewing products you have tried, sharing the benefits of using your products, and/or adding banners to your website. If you have your own website, this is a huge benefit for selling!
Plan

It is totally possible to make some extra cash selling CBD products from the comfort of your own home without spending any money. Of course, for those who are adventurous enough to try the products they are promoting, I believe they will do extremely well in the business. Just get to know your audience and your income from selling CBD is, well, the sky is the limit!
