I was excited to receive this package because 1) I snack
a lot more than I care to admit and 2) I`m a mom of an almost 3 year old and almost 9 year old. So snacks that are on the health
ier side of things are a huge plus, but not a must in my house. The fruit snack by both Welch`s and Go Organically were amazing! They each had their own flavor, but normally when snacks are "
healthier" they taste funny. Not these. In fact, after I tried my share of samples and put them in the snack drawer, my husband and kids gobbled them up like crazy! Those were a hit all the way around in our house. The package is small so you don`t eat a lot at one, but they`re full of flavor that make them rather enjoyable to consume.
Next up I tried the granola samples. I got the apple and cinnamon mix and the blueberry almond mix. Both tasted absolutely delicious! While you can mix a little milk with them in a bowl and eat them like cereal, I actually chose to eat mine straight out the package - delicious! If I had to choose one, though, the blueberry would definitely be my favorite since I`m a sucker for blueberries!
And finally, I tried the Sparkling Ice drinks. These weren`t bad, but I didn`t go crazy over them. Basically, these are flavored sparkling water. They`re unsweetened, which is healthier, but is probably why I didn`t go nuts over them as I enjoy the "bad" stuff that has sweeteners in them. Like I said, they`re not bad, but the flavor is something that takes getting used to if you`re a soda and sugary drink type person.
Overall each snack was different, but yet, very enjoyable. Everything I received was fresh and had a good time before it expired - not that it lasted long in my house anyway. I love having snacks I can keep in my purse while we`re on the go, running errands, and getting our holiday shopping done; especially when my impatient children are with me. Needless to say, each item on this list is recommended from my family!
