With the holiday season among us on top of COVID and already being inside a lot more, I know a lot of us have not had the best eating habits. I find the holidays only make it "worse" because, well, who can deny all that delicious holiday food?! I know it's a struggle for me - especially when it's all your favorites that you just don't get to eat year-round.
Well, there's something I saw that may just very well help with this particular issue and it's called Keyto
The Keyto heart-healthy keto program
makes a heart-healthy, low-carb lifestyle easy for everyone. It is built on the best science and enables you to lose weight, improve your health, and feel better while eating delicious foods. It is a sustainable program that is effective over the long term.
This program is unique in that it includes the optimal nutrition guidance that is delivered through our app, but also the Keyto breath sensor
, which gives you real-time feedback on your food choices through one simple breath. It is an essential tool that has helped 1000s of our members learn about their bodies, and motivate themselves to make the right choices.
After developing the Keyto heart-healthy keto program, members stated that their biggest challenge was finding nutritious, high-quality food. The low-carb foods on the market were overpriced, made with bad ingredients, or simply did not taste good. This inspired Keyto to create their own line of delicious, healthy food and incorporate them into our Keyto program.
While you're here, try this simple keto recipe out!
Keto salmon-filled avocados
- 2 avocados
- 6 oz. smoked salmon
- ¾ cup or or mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Cut avocados in half and remove the pit.
Place a dollop of crème fraiche or mayonnaise in the hollow of the avocado and add smoked salmon on top.
Season to taste with salt and a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor (and to keep the avocado from turning brown).
Tip: This keto plate can be served with any other type of fatty fish—boiled, fried, or smoked. It tastes even better with a little fresh dill!
