phase plus I don`t personally have diabetes, but it does run in my family and my step dad has it. Luckily it`s not severe for him, but you can definitely see the skin condition in his feet from it - just the thought grosses me out to be honest! It`s not a pretty site, but it`s part of the disease for some people. Thanks to Phase Plus I was sent some diabetic exfoliating wash and diabetic foot therapy cream which is being passed along to him. Not to mention they`re also allowing one of my lucky readers a chance to win these products for themselves as well!
Phase+ was created because of a void in the marketplace for products that address diabetes related skin conditions that can be resolved without seeing a doctor. The Phase+ Foot Therapy soothes and heals dry, cracked feet to relieve pain and discomfort.  The everyday foot cream is enriched with ingredients to soften calluses, promote blood flow and provide a healthy skin environment.  The unique Phase+ barrier technology creates a thin, protective barrier that keeps feet moisturized and comfortable.
So what are my thoughts? First of all I applaud this company for looking out for people with diabetes such as my step dad as I mentioned. While I notice more and more companies slowly starting to make products geared towards medical conditions, it`s still not as common as it should be. When I think of diabetes I think of not being able to eat sugar. That only reason I know about the skin condition was from when I was younger and my mom explained to me why my step dads feet and toe nails appear the way they do. I get dry feet myself, but that`s just typical when we get into cold weather that applying any lotion or moisturizer can fix. When someone has diabetes their skin can get really nasty looking - cracked, dead-looking skin. Like I said, it`s not a pretty site to look at. diabetics The first thing I tried out was the body wash. It`s a dual-action formula that deeply cleans and exfoliates without drying or damaging skin. It`s specifically designed with proven ingredients to gently polish away dull skin to safely reduce and prevent thickening of the skin. So rather than having all that dead skin just keep piling on, this will help rid it away. Since I don`t have that issue, I tried it just for general feel of the product and it applied smoothly to my skin. The scent was very light of a peppermint smell. It gave it more of a relaxing feeling honestly. When I finished washing with the wash I noticed an immediate difference of my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed. Again, I do not have diabetes personally, but I am suffering from some dry skin, especially on my feet and hands during the cold weather. diabetic foot cream Next up I gave the Foot Therapy a try. This is basically just a lotion for your feet to help with the dryness, cracks and any pain you may feel in your feet. Since I don`t have the severe cracked feet I can`t judge on the effectiveness there, but I can tell you my feet did feel smoother from the typical dryness and flaking my feet are currently experiencing. Again, this product had a light peppermint scent to it. diabetic foot cream I find both products are effective in improving dry skin conditions for sure. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! If all works out well with my step dad and this product I know he will purchase more as well.  This is a definite must have for anyone suffering with dry skin - diabetes or not!
