Have you ever come across someone and they are just so put together, you keep thinking “How can I get to that level?”. Us too. While there’s no way to become exactly like them, and a lot of people’s success comes from extreme hard work and dedication, we can give you a little glimpse into things *some* people do daily that set the tone for the rest of their days. Yes, waking up and eating right is a definite good start…but there are five other things you can do that will significantly get your mind-body-soul in line:
Meditate in the A.M
It should come as no surprise that the things you do in the morning will shape the rest of your day. You know that old saying about waking up on the wrong side of the bed? Yeah, that’s an actual thing. Your mindset early on will make the view on the rest of the day either rosy or gray. We vote in favor of rosy. Taking 10-20 minutes in the morning to practice mindfulness and doing either a meditative breathing exercise or guided meditation will help you re-align your mind for the day, and keep your ego in check. Try our
Mental Clarity Essential Oil Blend for your next morning meditation session—guaranteed to keep your spirits open for success.
Set Goals For the Day
We all have items in our head that we set out to achieve, but do you have a
daily goal list for yourself? If not, today’s the day to start! One thing that all successful people do is make a mental list of their goals and visualize themselves achieving them or at least, starting them. Try it out and see if slight manifesting can work for you!
Sweat. It. Out.
As we all know, exercising has a myriad of benefits on the body. Aside from the release of endorphins to give you that Goofy-approved grin, it also lets us get our blood flowing and heart pumping. Translation: You WAKE up. Starting or ending the day with a work out, is just another way that successful people can stay fit and stay focused.
Eat Healthy!
Food. Matters. Repeat that twice. Your choices throughout the day are a direct impact on your energy levels. If you eat cheeseburgers, fries, bacon daily…you’ll likely feel like you took a hard left turn into Brain Fog Central. To keep yourself in shape and your brain functioning fully, try to fill your plate with more greens, fruits and protein. We promise, long term, this will prove vital to success.
Smile
Guys, c’mon. This one is pretty easy. Smiling and laughing are two ways to not only bond with others, but give yourself a boost of happiness. So show some teeth and get your mood in check!
