My First Time Trying Country Scents Candles
was back in October 2018 when I bought my wax warmer and some wax tarts. This time, I tried some more tarts, a new wax melt skillet, a charity candle, and some essential oils. As with my first time trying them out, the same goes for this time: I did not get these items for free. I paid out of my own pocket
and was so seriously impressed I had to share my experience with you all.
So I have been ordering tarts (wax melts) rather religiously from Country Scents. I just love their products as they smell amazing and they're pretty affordable. Since the last time I reviewed them, Country Scents has added quite a few products to their line so I highly recommend you go check out their website and browse around. Especially check out the Country Scents Last Chance section
to save some money while trying some of their discontinued/clearance products!
So for my little shopping trip, I ordered 3 wax tarts: Cucumber Melon
, and Nag Champa
. Cucumber Melon is my husbands favorite so that's not new for me, but the lemon and Nag Champa were new. Both smell amazing, however, the Nag Champa was my favorite of the three I ordered. I love how the wax melts all smell fresh and unique to their scent. Each fragrance fills the room and is rather enjoyable. Some fragrances are 'louder' than others, it just depends on the scent. Luckily, the scent descriptions on site are accurate so what they describe is what you get. These are $5 each and are totally worth it!
Next, I tried one of the new charity candles
. With this, $1 from your candle purchase is donated to whichever charity is being promoted. In my case, I ordered the candle promoting Autism Awareness and went with the Autism Awareness Candle Heart. The Autism Candle Scent is described as Italian bergamot and sparkling lemon are sweetened with freshly picked citron and neroli, white floral jasmine, orange blossom, and rose are blended with sheer musk and cedarwood. I found the scent to be light, but after the candle has been lit for a little bit, the fragrance is definitely noticeable. It's just not strong so this would be a good choice for those who enjoy the lighter fragrances. Either way, the candles look nice and it supports an amazing cause! These candles are just $17.00, but as I said $1 from that is going to a great cause. The donation will happen at the beginning of the month for the previous month. For example, on May 1st, Country Scents will run the report for April and then write the check to the charity(s).
Another newbie item to Country Scents is their Farmhouse Collection
. Since noticing the collection I had been wanting to give them a try so I finally got the Bessies Orange Coconut Skillet
to see what it was all about. So what is it? It is described as a summer arrangement of fresh mandarin oranges, tropical fruits, creamy coconut, and vanilla bean. Mandarin coconut fragrance begins with top notes of fuzzy apricot skin, mandarin balm, and yellow star fruit; followed by middle notes of white nectarine, papaya smoothie, and mango juice; sitting on base notes of Caribbean coconut, vanilla bean, and Venezuela Tonka. The way this works is you put in on top an Auto Shut Off Candle Warmer (Country Scents has the one on that link for just $15)
. The skillets are only $15.00 and basically would amount to the same amount as a full pack of the wax tarts. So a good value. Especially considering you can get just the
Overall, once again, I had a wonderful experience. I love the care Country Scents takes in their packaging. Everything is packaged so well that none of my items have ever arrived broken. Plus, everything smells so amazing! Of everything, their wax melts and room sprays are my favorites of their products, however, I honestly have loved everything I have tried and have yet to be disappointed. Trust me, if you have been considering trying them, go for it. They are AMAZING!
