Our family has worked with flowers for more than four decades. We’ve found a new way to share our love of flowers with others, a way to give people the experience of constantly enjoying a life surrounded by flowers. We’re excited about it, and hope you will be too. We believe flowers make every moment special. They can brighten up rooms and bring smiles to people’s faces: young and old, kids and adults, women and men alike. We believe flowers bring joy to everyday lives, so we are committed to bringing beautiful flowers to your home. Too many people think flowers should be only for special occasions. We want to help you make flowers a part of your everyday life.
Arriving once or twice monthly, the Enjoy Flowers Farm Fresh subscription delivers beautiful, hand-tied bouquets of 20, 30, or 40 stems. I was super excited about the flowers and enjoyed a new experience.
In the past, when getting flower deliveries, you had to be home to receive your flowers. I can understand why. Who wants a vase of flowers just sitting on their doorstep for someone else to take or get ruined. However, the keyword was having to be home to receive them. What if the florist didn't call to arrange a time? What if it was a surprise? What if they decided to arrive early/late for the delivery? Not a big deal if you're home, but having to step out and miss the florist means you've missed your flowers and have to wait another time. With Enjoy Flowers, they were shipped via UPS, overnight or express shipping, and were delivered at my doorstep. I was home to receive them, however, if I had not been they would have been waiting for me boxed up on my doorstep for when I could get home.
The box is lightweight but rather sturdy, not flimsy. The packaging job was beautifully and well done. The flowers were strapped and secured into place so they arrived in perfect condition. There was also a bag of what appeared to be a black/charcoal foam-like material that was damp to ensure the flowers had water on their shipment without having to put actual water in the box. Now I should note, the flowers do not come with a vase. I used to have a collection of vases, but since I have no idea what happened to them (probably got rid of them when cleaning, to be honest) I improvised and used an 'old school' glass pitcher as my flower holder. I mean, it is a farm bouquet so it is pretty fitting, right?!
The flowers come with a packet of a powder substance where you mix it in the water to help your flowers live longer. That stuff honestly works. I've learned to use it every time otherwise the flowers tend to be done with life after a couple of days. With the powder mix, they last at least a full week (depending on your care and the type of flowers, of course). So add the mix, add in some water, then trim the stems at an angle and set your flowers into place! The hardest part, for me, was trying to take the flowers out the box as one of my cats swatted at it and then as I was trying to place it into the vase at my desk, the cat sitting on the shelf above taking a swat at it. Talk about needing to be a flower ninja!
With this bouquet, I had received a wide range of flowers, mainly in purple and yellow hues. The sunflower and a couple of the other wildflowers are stunning. Honestly, my pictures really do not do this bouquet justice! Some of the varieties that come in the Farm Fresh Bouquet (not necessarily this one) according to the Enjoy Flowers website are: oses, Spray Roses, Alstroemerias, Carnations, Matsumoto, Green Trick, Pomponi, Hydrangeas, CHARMELIA® and more! Every flower was in perfect condition. Not a single dead, or even starting to die flowers, were in the bundle.
Not only did I have an excellent experience from the beginning, from the packaging and quality of the flowers, but to add to it, the flowers have a beautiful fresh floral fragrance that I am able to enjoy all day at my desk. It's not strong enough to fill the room, I mean, this is an authentic flower fragrance, not artificial, but the fragrance is enough to really put a calming mood in my work space where I chose to place the flowers. Needless to say, I can honestly recommend checking out Enjoy Flowers; especially their Farm Fresh Bouquet!
