I honestly never thought I would be excited about fly swatters, but these are pretty fun. Are they anything special? Well, not really. They're the typical plastic fly swatter that you see around, but there is a difference. These are not only brightly colored, but they have a large hand shape and a long durable handle. I love the hand shape compared to the typical square swatter. It just makes it more fun. To be quite honest, the first thing that happened when I got these in was my husband and I cut up like little children swatting each other with them. Then we even got the cats attention with them. Of course, my 3-year-old and my 9-year-old saw them and stole them to play with later on. Basically, we made these versatile!

These are well made, well constructed, and held up just fine during our rough housing with them; despite the fact these are made for swatting flies, not playing around like we did. So they passed the quality test. Because they are made of plastic, they are easy to clean between uses in the even they get dirty. As far as effective goes; they definitely worked on the big mosquito we had flying around our kitchen earlier!

Hopefully we won't need these for bug killing, but if we do; I certainly have faith in them that they will work out. I mean, if they can last against my children playing with them, then they will last through pretty much anything!
