   4th-of-July-Snack-Idea-Rudolphs-Pork-Rinds-Review-closetsamples.jpg

Tomorrow we`ll be celebrating the 4th of July. We plan on having some family over for a BBQ at our place. Nothing big or fancy, just a little get together to celebrate Independence Day. Of course, it`s not a BBQ in the south without some pork rinds. Some say they`re gross, maybe it`s a southern thing, but I can tell you I love them. I found a new brand I was introduced to try; Rudolph`s Pork Rinds, and I must say - they`re delicious!   Rudolph Foods Company, Inc., one of the world's largest suppliers of branded and private-label snack products, is the world’s largest pork rind manufacturer. Awarded the title of 2010 Energy Saver, Rudolph Foods operates energy efficient plants in Ohio, Georgia, Texas, and California, and is solely dedicated to providing its customers with sustainable, top quality products and the highest levels of customer service at the best price.

I was sent both the Rudolph`s BBQ Pork Rinds and Rudolph`s Original Pork Rinds to try out for myself. Each package arrived fresh and neither bag expires until August 2014. Although I do wish there was a longer time period in between receiving them and when they expire, I doubt I`ll personally need that much time to eat them all. Particularly since I`m planning to have these out at our little get-together tomorrow. As far as the flavor goes - I think they were great. Crunchy, tastes as they should - no funny taste. The only thing I wish was different was more fat I think it is on it? Okay, I know, fat sounds horrible, but there was one kind I had before and it`s like a soft spot in the rinds. I prefer that texture to the crunchy. The whole rind wasn`t that way, but it had spots in it - sort of how bacon is crispy with the soft fatty spots. That`s just my own personal preference though. These pork rinds, in general, are great though. So good my cat literally was trying to steal them out my hand as I was trying them! I can honestly say I would definitely recommend giving Rudolph`s Pork Rinds a try.
