The way I feel, you can never have too many flashlights, especially in the event of an emergency. This particular flashlight is pretty nice, but not without flaw. First of all, rather than just being a flashlight, this one is a "kit". It comes with the flashlight, case for storage, and battery. With this particular light, you have a choice of using 1x 18650 3.6v/ 3.7v OR (3) AAA batteries. The battery included is the 3.6/3.7V battery - not the AAA batteries.
What I like about this light is that it is waterproof and has 5 light zoom modes - high, medium, low, SOS, or Strobe. While it works pretty well and has a bright light output, I was not a fan of the effort required to adjust the zoom. It`s not hard, but it requires a lot more twisting/turning when compared to other similar flashlights. Also, unlike the stock photo, my light is missing the print at the head of the light about the zoom. This is not a big deal, but it`s disappointing when you see something different in the stock photo than what you actually get.
Overall the flashlight is a nice quality. It`s made of a quality aluminum alloy, has a small rope for securing around the wrist, and puts out a good bit of bright light. In fact, the lighting is rather impressive when compared to other similar flashlights. The fact that it has a storage case is a big bonus as well. Ultimately, it`s still a great light, even with it`s flaws.
