Eeek!! I was too excited about this! Once again, I would like to state: I did NOT get this item for free. I paid for it out of my own pocket and loved it so much that I wanted to share it with you. With that said, what I'm sharing with you today is the Country Scents Himalayan Salt Oil Warmer. This is a newer item recently added that I wanted to get as soon as I saw it, and I finally did!
With the Himalayan Salt Oil Warmer, you combine the purifying benefits of Himalayan salt with the therapeutic benefits of 100% all-natural essential oils. for those who don't know, Himalayan Salt Lamps emit energizing negative ions, purifying the air, improving mood, and providing a natural-feeling light source. Negative ions help neutralize positive ions emitted from devices such as phones and computers. Water molecules attracted by the salt can carry positive ions. Salt crystals warmed by the bulb evaporate the water molecules, helping to neutralize the positive water molecules trapped in them. Illuminated salt crystals create a soothing, therapeutic glow. Add essential oil to the warming dish for an aromatherapy experience as you naturally purify the air.
Along with my lamp, I ordered a couple of essential oils to test it out with (even though I have a TON of oils). I'll get into using the salt lamp in a second, but let me tell you about the oils I got that I tested in my new salt lamp. So some new ones I added to my collection were: Patchouli Oil, Head Up Essential Oil Blend, and Little Genius Essential Oil Blend. Patchouli Oil is a complex, earthy aroma for the free spirit. Diffuse it to create balanced and peaceful feelings. The Head Up Essential Oil Blend is a relaxing minty and herbal blend. Diffuse it to encourage relaxation when experiencing tension or tightness in the head or neck. The blend consists of anise, basil, eucalyptus, orange, peppermint, spearmint, and tea tree. The Little Genius Essential Oil Blend is good to diffuse to encourage your little genius to focus and concentrate. The blend consists of cedarwood, chamomile, lavender, marjoram, orange, vetiver, and ylang-ylang.  Each of these smells amazing and are unique fragrances. Of course, there are a ton of other oil blends to choose from as well. I just recommend grabbing a few to try with the salt warmer!
So back to using the warmer. All you need to do is find a good place to put your lamp where you can plug it into an outlet. Keep out of reach of your cats (and probably other pets) as salt lamps can be very harmful if your cat licks it. The salt lamp won't bother your cat as long as it doesn't lick it, but cats are curious creatures so find a face place to begin with just to be on the safe side. Add some essential oil to the metal dish for the warmer and enjoy (once your lamp is turned on). The fragrance fills the room! You'll know once the fragrance is done as the heat evaporates it. I do recommend wiping out the little dish between uses to keep it clean and keep from mixing fragrances (unless you want to mix them). But I'm very impressed with how well it works. The stronger the fragrance throw of the oil is, the more space the aroma will fill up. If it's a light scent throw, it most likely will only fill up a small closet type space. However, when I used fragrances with a moderate to higher scent throw, it was able to fill up my bedroom, but not enough for a full house. I'd get multiple lamps if that's your goal.
I like to add enough oil to put a little layer on the bottom of the little dish. This seems to last for a few hours of fragrance for me. So works very well. Whether the lamp itself does anything special, I couldn't tell you, but it looks really pretty. So if anything a nice decorative fragrance warmer for sure! I don't think you'll be disappointed if you give it a try!
