Our dog Scooby is semi-trained, but doesn`t fully listen. We`d really like to get her to stop jumping on people when they walk in the door. When using the whistle I noticed it doesn`t necessarily stop her, but the sound will get her to stop for a minute and look around to see where the sound came from. So using it every time she jumps we`re hoping to eliminate her urge to constantly jump when someone enters the room. One thing to note is that the sound is pretty annoying to dogs, so don`t blow the whistle unless you need to for training otherwise they will grow to ignore it and not think twice when you blow it. Overall though since using the whistle for the past few days I have noticed an improvement. I would advise reading the training guide ebook that comes with the whistle for the best results.
