I am in love with FitSnack! I have been working with them every month for a while now and still love them!

For anybody not familiar with FitSnack, check out my past reviews here.

The background info: When I originally learned about Fit Snack, I wanted to learn what they were about. Now I can’t get enough of them! Besides offering healthy (and delicious might I add) snacks, it’s also a subscription box. I LOVE subscription boxes because they offer new products I would have never touched on my own. Of course, finding new things to fall in love with could be bad too if you’re on a budget, especially since I tend to find way too many most of the time! Enough about how awesome subscription boxes are, let’s get on with this Fit Snack box.

So what exactly is in the Fit Snack Box?

Each Fit Snack box is packed with the most delicious and healthiest products on the market.  They strive to include a diverse experience of full and sample size items that are as good as they are good for you. Every box is different – half the fun is getting the mystery box of goodies delivered to your door each month! Each product always containing two or more of the following: GMO-Free, High in protein, low in sugar, gluten-free, organic, raw, vegan and all-natural. Plus, they add in bonus items such as energy boosters, nutritional supplements, or refreshing beverages. Also,  they include a note card that includes information about the items in your box as well as exclusive workouts, workout gear or other active lifestyle inspiration. Each monthly Fit Snack box contains 7 – 10 carefully curated items, generally valued at over $30.

There are additional benefits to being a Fit Snack member!

  • Fit Quarterly– our workout, recipe, and inspirational publication.
  • Fit Music– complimentary workout music mix from one of Hollywood’s hottest DJs, Jonny Fontana.
  • Fit Community– a supportive and active community of members that share tips, ideas, and motivation.
  • Fit Philanthropy – for each box we ship, we donate one meal through Feeding America.

For this month, I got quite a few new things to try. Here's what came in my box:

WHY BARS | CHERRY CHIA
Delicious real superfood ingredients including organic chia combined in a healthy, gluten-free, snack bar that tastes great!
I received the cherry chia flavor of this item. Visually this is unappealing as well as texture. However, the flavor actually isn't bad. It sort of reminds me of an oatmeal cookie with a hint of cherry. It's a bit tough to bite into as well. So depending on your test depends on if this one is right for you. Not horrible, but not a favorite for me. I would say it just takes a little getting used to before you can enjoy it if you're not familiar with this type of product.

PEPPER JACKED MOON CHEESE
Fuel up with Moon Cheese as a crunchy snack - protein-packed, no sugar, low in carbs.

These were pretty interesting to try. You could taste the cheese flavor, yet it's a hard, crunchy-type of snack. It's a unique flavor, but I like it. It's not a favorite, but more of just 'different' and hard to describe. I would eat them again, though!

WEEKS HONEY FARM | CINNAMON HONEY SPREAD
This award-winning cinnamon-infused gourmet whipped honey. Weeks Honey Farm has harvested pure, raw, unfiltered honey the same way since 1960, 100% all-American, guaranteed.

I am in LOVE with this honey. It is delicious! You can taste the freshness in the honey as well as the cinnamon. It's not a tiny hint of cinnamon, but actually is full of flavor! I would definitely buy this regularly! I can enjoy it by itself or in some hot tea. Either way works for me!

BACKPACKERS PANTRY | VEGETABLE MEDLEY
Backpacker's Pantry Vegetable Medley combines corn, peas, and carrots in a delicious, light, butter sauce.

I actually had some leftover plain white rice. I made this to use to add flavor to the rice and am glad I did. It was delicious! This is the 2nd time I've tried this particular brand and once again have not been let down!

KIBBO FOODS | HIMALAYAN SEA SALT CHICKPEA CHIPS
A chickpea twist on a classic flavor, these Himalayan salt chips are perfect for dipping in guac, salsa, you name it!

I'm actually pretty impressed by these! While I would still prefer a regular potato chip, the flavor of these aren't too bad. They have the same familiar crunch of a potato chip, but a bit thicker and slightly different texture. On the first bite, I can taste hints of the Himalayan salt, then it turns a bit dry and you taste the chickpea flavor. I think if they had more salt to them I would enjoy them more, however they're not bad. More of an acquired taste. I'd be open to trying other flavors!

TEAONIC | MY BRAIN MOJO WELLNESS SHOT
CLEAR MIND. Delicious, daily wellness shots - packed with powerful herbs, juices, and plant extracts. A mind-boosting combo to cognitive function and fuel your mind.

This particular item was one I didn't enjoy too much. I drank about half as it has an interesting flavor, but it also has a sort of spicy/pepper taste to it. It was an interesting taste. Not necessarily gross, but not very appealing after. I'd be open to drying to different flavor options though!

FLAP JACKED | CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS
Portable protein made for any lunchbox, backpack, or gym bag. These mini meat sticks are crafted with antibiotic-free meat and made the Vermont Way, for the finest flavor in every bite.

I really liked this! The cookie is soft and definitely had a chocolate brownie flavor! I'd be open to trying other flavors of this brand as well!

FOODS ALIVE | NUTRITIONAL YEAST
A source of dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and a complete protein with a delicious cheesy flavor. Most Nutritional Yeast products are fortified with synthetic B-Vitamins, but not this one!

Unfortunately, this is not a product I would use so I opted to donate it, especially during a time like we're going through with the Corona Virus.

As you can see I received a nice mix of products this month from FitSnack. I thoroughly enjoyed my box and being able to try some new items I would not have otherwise tried on my own. Ultimately, based on my time with FitSnack, I can honestly say I feel like their subscription service is worth looking into and giving a try!
