We enjoy trying new foods in our house so we tried a few new products (or at least new to us) by Tandoor Chef and Family Finest. We got some frozen entrees, scones, and make-n-bake pizzas. Let me say, all were delicious! At first, I couldn`t find the products in my stores and finally after they decided to `remodel` the place they were there!! So we started our morning off with the Scones. These come pre-made and ready to bake. The package reminds me of cookie dough packaging, but a smaller size. After about 10-15 minutes these are done, you add the cream drizzle and enjoy. I had never had a Scone before these so I have nothing to compare them to, but my goodness was they delicious and so addicting! For reference, I tried the orange cranberry with vanilla icing. My only complaint? I want more in the package!!
For lunch, we continued on to try the Make-N-Bake pizza for the kids and I had my Tandoor Chef frozen Entrees. The Make-N-Bake pizzas we got the pepperoni. These were super easy to make as well. It comes in a lunchable style form, but a bigger box and bigger pizzas of course. The pizza rounds are about the size of my hand - a bit larger give or take. You put all your toppings on, bake then eat. My 7-year-old enjoyed making her own pizza and since we homeschool we took this as an educational experience. She also made a pizza just for her 1-year-old baby brother! The pizzas came out tasting delicious and my 7-year-old felt like she was on top of the world! As for me, I enjoyed my Tandoor Chef entrees. I had the Lamb Vindaloo and the 4 Samosa. Each was enough to be a small meal on their own, but I couldn`t wait to try them both so I made them and shared. Both were delicious and ready in just a few minutes after being warmed in the microwave. The lamb was delicious, but it was a bit on the spicy side so be careful! The Samosa was unique too as I never had that either. That was NOT spicy. I`ve never had Indian style food so this was a new and exciting experience for me and quite delicious at that!
Overall we had a fun experience that tasted great! We enjoyed the foods and my daughter enjoyed making her own food. All the foods we tried we found between Walmart and Wholefoods and were actually affordable for the everyday budget. Not to mention they were rather filling as well. The food quality was nice and I could definitely recommend each product we tried!
