Whether it’s a quick call to ask what’s needed from the grocery store or catching up with a long-distance friend – people everywhere talk on cell phones while they’re driving. It’s long been recognized that talking on the phone while driving increases your risk of being involved in a crash. But in recent years, car and technology companies have marketed hands-free devices as a safer way to talk while driving. One product that helps with hands-free driving is the Universa Cupholder Stand with Sticky Pad by Talk Easier.
The Helping Hand will hold your phone or tablet securely on your desk, kitchen counter or in your car, truck or boat without moving or breakable parts! It`s made of heavy duty ABS plastic and comes with a washable sticky pad. Use it also to hold your phone while making a video by simply turning the HH on it`s side and sticking the phone to the sticky pad. Available in black or white I decided to check out The Helping Hand for myself and thought it was a very plain, but useful design. It`s light weight and works well on my desk or in my cup holder in my car. I initially had the sticky pad as it`s supposed to on the helping hand, which held my Samsung Note 2 effortlessly. This was really great until I was ready to take my phone off. I pulled my phone and the backing came off and the battery flew out! So the hold was TOO much for my phone so I had to throw the sticky backing away. If my phone would ring while on there I would not have been able to answer it. So that part was a bit of a disappointment. Of course the helping hand did still hold my phone without the sticky pad, but then it can`t be used in the car because the phone can slide out easily. In fact, without the sticky pad I noticed my phone would slide off quite easily and at one point flew off and hit my foot!
Overall I like the design and idea, but the function just wasn`t working out too well for me. If there is some improvements so the sticky pad doesn`t stick as much so I could use the product as intended I would have a better experience with it.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
