With the new year in full swing, I have been working on my goal of being healthier. While losing weight is always a plus, I would much rather be healthy and feel good. So, that's what I'm working on! So when I was offered to collaborate with Naked Nutrition and try a couple of their products, I was excited!

 

I was sent two items to try: Recovery Mushroom Supplement and Chocolate Protein Shake. I tried both, and to my surprise, I actually enjoyed both! Let me break it down for you.

 

The first one I tried was the Recovery Mushroom Supplement.  According to the website, this is said to optimize your energy levels, mood, and performance with Naked Recovery. It is an all-in-one supplement that helps reduce post-exercise soreness, balance physical and cognitive stress, and to promote quality rest and rejuvenation. Six US-grown adaptogenic mushrooms, tart cherry juice, and lemon balm extract work together to support physical and mental wellbeing so you can perform at your best, whether it's at the gym or work. 

 

Using this was so easy. It calls for adding 1-2 scoops to 8 ounces of water or your favorite drink and mix. You only need to do this once per day. 

 

For me, I decided to mix it with a sparkling rose juice drink. I wasn't sure what to expect, but WOW! It was delicious and full of flavor! I found that this one actually complimented the sparkling juice really well and made it taste better than the original drink! This is crazy because usually, I'm not a fan of these types of mixes. I used a milk frother to ensure it fully mixed and I was able to enjoy a smooth flavored drink without chunks. I found that drinking it pretty regularly I did feel as if I had a mood boost and a bit more energy. Whether it was a coincidence or not, I cannot tell you, but I'm willing to bet this stuff had something to do with it!

 

Next up, I tried the Chocolate Protein Shake. According to the brand website, this is said to satisfy your chocolate cravings and increase daily protein intake on a busy schedule. Chocolate Naked Shake starts with their best-selling pea protein, adds MCT oil, and natural plant-based flavors. The result is a crave-worthy shake that delivers 20g of protein and only 4g of sugar. Naked Shake only contains the premium ingredients you need to maintain optimal energy levels and manage a healthy weight.

 

As with the Recovery Mushroom Supplement, this one was easy to use as well. You just add a scoop to 16 ounces of water or your favorite drink and mix once per day. Same as the other supplement. 

 

For this one, I opted to mix the Chocolate Protein Shake with Oat Milk. Again, I used the milk frother to ensure a smooth mixture and I was not disappointed! Once fully mixed, I had a smooth and delicious chocolate drink! It didn't taste like a health type drink. Just a delicious glass of chocolate oat milk to be quite honest! I found it really helped that sweet tooth craving.

 

Would I be able to replace all my cravings with this? No. However, it helps enough where I can certainly cut back on acting on those cravings by enjoying a glass! 

 

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with Naked Nutrition. I found that unlike other similar products, this one actually mixes well and has a good flavor. It actually enhances my drinks rather than takes away from them. I definitely think these are a MUST to try and highly recommend them!
