Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I`m always experiencing back pains these days with this pregnancy, especially being 37 weeks along today! While a hot bath seems to work best, it still doesn`t get rid of the pain unless I`m basically staying in the tub all day - which I would do if my computer and tv were waterproof! Unfortunately though I couldn`t get anything done so a nice hour long or so bath in hot water is what I have to stick with for now and then using the heating pad basically all day every day. Fun right? Especially when it makes just a minor difference; but something is better than nothing. Well I have yet another tool to use to help relieve my pains called the Soothie Massager and one lucky reader has a chance to win one as well!
About Soothie Massager
The Soothie Massager® applies both pain-relieving HEAT and PRESSURE directly to tightened muscles and knotty "trigger points" breaking up tension inside even the hardest to reach muscles. A product so unique and effective it was awarded a U.S patent for its smart and effective design. Now you can get a full body, heated massage ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. Inside each PATENTED Soothie Massager® are a set of custom designed, high-density polymer balls which contain the ideal moisture content to be safely heated in a microwave. With its Ooh-Heat Technology™, the Soothie Massager increases circulation, helps flush out toxins and eases muscle stiffness. Your aches and pains will dissolve away in minutes!
I was sent a Soothie Massager to check out for myself and I`ll be honest - it doesn`t look like much of anything. I wasn`t too impressed and kind of brushed it off at first. Now while it`s not the greatest massager I`ve experienced, it does feel pretty darn good when you roll it down your back! My only problem? My arms get exhausted rolling it up and down to hit the spots. As you can see in the image I used at the very top of this post you can use the Soothie Massager against the wall as another technique, but for me having this big belly it makes it rather difficult to do so I`ll have to wait until after the pregnancy to take that route. Unfortunately flexibility just isn`t an option and it doesn`t take much for me to get cramps in my legs and all sorts of off places I typically don`t experience any cramping! As far as the product goes itself it`s a simple design, easy to store and is rather light weight. Not extremely light, but you`re not going to be lifting weights to use it either. I guess it`s just about the right weight for the right quality to use it without it being easily damaged may be the best way to describe it. Overall I found this product to be interesting, but feels great when I`m able to use it. It`s definitely unique to other massagers I have used in the past. I also think it`s a great item to use while you workout while getting a nice back massage at the same time. I love that I can just toss it in the microwave for a short period of time and have basically a heated massager. My only downfall with it is because I`m pregnant and get tired easily it`s not the right product for me at this time. If this was like my pregnancy with my daughter where everything was rather blissful then of course we`d be right on track and I`d love it a lot more since I`d be able to use it without these aches and pains (she was a well behaved baby in the womb!). Of course the big question is would I recommend it? Absolutely! It`s a great product, great idea - just not so much if you`re an overly exhausted pregnant woman. Otherwise I`m sure you`ll love it just the same as I do!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
