I love candles and I love natural made items. What can I say? I like a lot of things. With it being the start of Fall and soon Winter, I want to stock up on my candles since I use them like crazy during that time. Recently I found out about these new kind of candles called
Goodlight Natural Candles and was offered a chance to try them out for myself!
The
Goodlight Natural Candles appear just like your ordinary candle and every feel the same. So what`s so special about them? Well most candles are made of paraffin wax, a cheap bus poisonous byproduct of oil refineries. The fumes from paraffin candles contain chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects and such respiratory problems as asthma. The Goodlight Natural Candles are made of 100% palm wax, a non-toxic, clean-burning renewable resource. Bet you didn`t know all that now did you? It`s ok, I didn`t know about all that either until now!
When I started to burn my candle, it works just the same as those typical candles. When I was done letting mine run it`s course, I blew it out expecting a burst of smoke and that smell you get when the candle goes out. To my excitement, there was of course some smoke, but not like I typically get. Also, that "after" burning candle smell, was non existent! Even better! I hate ruining a great smelling candle by blowing it and having the nasty smoke smell after.
