From my experience, the IonPacific ionbox is a totally user-friendly gadget that is lightweight and seems to do as it is described to do. I am not a scientist or a doctor, so I cannot tell you the in's and out's of the gadget and if I have proven them to work in that matter. However, I can tell you that using the IonPacific ionbox was a breeze from the moment I took it out the packaging. You simply plug it in and push the button to turn it on or off. That's it.
While the IonPacific ionbox is on, it reminds me of a fan by how it sounds. It has a powerful mini fan sound to it, however, very little air blows out of it. Afterall, it's not a fan, but just to give you a better idea of what to expect is what I'm getting at. While it's not loud, it's not quiet either. I guess sort of like a computer when it starts running a bunch of processes and you hear it make that sound (the fan kicking on)... that's what it reminds me of. It can easily be heard, but in my opinion, it's not a sound that would be distracting or disturb me from everyday work or even trying to sleep.
The IonPacific ionbox itself is lightweight and compact in size so it is convenient to easily move or bring with you on the go. It even uses a USB power source so you can plug it directly into another USB device to use, or into the wall charger. However, it does not charge. Meaning, it must be plugged in the whole time to be able to use it - bummer! I wish there was a more either/or option, especially considering the short length of the cable it comes with. The good news, though, is that the USB cables are super easy to come across online (and probably even locally) and are super cheap so you can always get a longer cable if you have a need for it. For someone who is planning to use this device at their desk, however, the cable it comes with will be just fine.
All in all the IonPacific ionbox seems like a wonderful gadget. It's compact, lightweight, easy to use, and doesn't sound annoying when it's on. Only time will tell how great the results will be from using it. I think the company did a great job with this product as well with its presentation of it. I would only suggest 2 changes, if possible, to the manufacturer to improve this or consider for their next model:
1) Option of using the device wirelessly or plugged in.
2) More information in the package to give users an idea of what to expect as far as results and how it works. (While this may be on the website, if this is given as a gift, or if you're like me and often forget, that's where this would be proven useful)
As you can see, these are minor suggestions that, in my opinion that would improve the product. Regardless, the IonPacific ionbox is a great product from what I am seeing thus far and can honestly say I would recommend it based off my experience with it!
