Here in New Orleans you will find me wearing flip flops basically all the time, with the exception of work and cold weather (which is usually just 1 month of the year!). So of course any opportunity to try out some new ones, I`m going to take. Especially since my comfy flip flops get worn really quick and well the ones that aren`t very comfy just never get worn. So I teamed up with
Sanuk to try out a pair of shoes they had to offer.
I went ahead and gave their
Yoga Mat Primo Flip Flops a go! Now judging based off just looks on their site, I honestly didn`t expect too much but another pair of brown shoes. They looked ok and appeared they`d go great with just about anything in my closet, nothing special or more than that. When they arrived, I could tell my first impression was definitely wrong. Yes, they are the same brown flip flops I originally saw in the picture and yes I think they do look better in person, but these felt like they would be much better quality than I`ve had before.
So what`s so special about these flip flops? They`re made of REAL yoga mat! Yes, those mats that you exercise and do yoga on. Even better, these sandals were constructed with premium leather so they have that instant "broken in" feeling which automatically has them comfortable for you to wear instantly! The sandals fit perfectly and I feel like I can walk for MILES in them comfortably. In fact, in all honesty, I think I may have found me some new favorite flip flops for my every day use once this weather warms up a bit.
Now what also impresses me about this company is they shipped my sandals in a bag that is biodegradable, which shows me that they care about our environment and going green. In fact, they switched all their bags to the same sort of biodegradable bag that my shoes were went in. The bag can be re-used again as well, which they definitely encourage. Way to go Sanuk! Speaking of the way my shoes were shipped, their shipping time is quite fast. Not to mention their super friendly customer service I experienced. So without a doubt, I`d recommend this company and their products to my friends, family & of course you all, my readers!
