Typically I don`t just review anything, but since this was such a nice freebie to receive randomly in the mail I figured I`d post a little something about them. I received two pairs of Westcott brand Scissors
in the mail. One pair is an adult sized titanium bonded 8" straight handle pair and the other is a kids pointed tip pair for ages 6 and up.
The Westcott bonds titanium to a stainless core producing a sharper, more durable, longer-lasting cutting edge. Their precision ground Titanium Bonded blades are three time harder than stainless steel so they stay sharper longer. They are highly resistant to corrosion and to adhesives such as glue and tape, making them ideal for almost any project. Westcott Titanium Bonded scissors and shears feature contoured soft grip handles for control and comfort. These amazing cutting tools will stay sharp and smooth-cutting, making them an exceptional value.
One thing that stands out about these is that my mom has a pair of the adult scissors I received. The same EXACT ones and she has been having them forever. They last through cutting sticky freezy pops, glue, craft projects, and all kinds of stuff! No rust has occurred and no deterioration of any sort. For them to last through my moms house and still be in excellent shape would say a lot if you knew the things those poor things have gone through! Now to have my own pair is exciting. I know they will last long and they`re a trusted brand.
As I said, this wasn`t a scheduled review with any company. This was just a quick little note I wanted to share about the scissors and sort of my way of thanking them for sending out the freebie. I don`t even remember signing up for it, but I`m sure if I looked through old posts I would see it somewhere. Thank you, Westcott Scissors
