I`m the type who loves to try out new technology. I love "geeky" type things, but more importantly things that are cool that make life a lot easier. In our house we have one of those Vizio Smart TVs, cable box, dvd player, etc. Actually that`s our bedroom. The front room has the tv, cable box then my husbands xbox!  Well in our bedroom we like to enjoy watching movies before going to bed from time to time or just be able to sit back in bed and relax to some shows on the television. We DO have a universal remove, BUT the one thing is it is not hooked up to our tv. I forgot the whole reason why behind it, but since getting the new tv a few months back it just isn`t synced to it. Also, I must admit, while I love new technology, I leave it up to my husband to set up. So when I was provided a chance to check out the Zmart remote Pro I was thrilled, but didn`t think it`d be too great to be honest with you. Hey, just saying from first thoughts it`s what I was thinking!

So like I said, I was excited about this, but didn`t think it`d really work great or it`d be limited or something. Usually things that sound too good there`s something wrong. So anyway I decided to be brave and open the package. The instructions were very simple to follow. First I installed the free app. I have Samsung Galaxy Note 2 so I used the google play store for my download. I typed in "Zmart Remote Pro",  hit search, and it was right there on top. It took less than a minute to download and I was ready to get started. Once the app is installed your next step is to plug in the remote and then open the app. Upon opening the app I activated my code which was included in the package with the remote (it`s a small red tag with the activation numbers on the back). I nearly threw out the packaging before doing this so be sure to find that small paper in the remote packaging before tossing anything out! Once you do that you can start adding rooms and devices to your app and that`s it! You can begin using it like a remote! I was impressed with how simple it was to search and find the devices to add to my app and how quickly they were added. They were then able to be controlled immediately. Remember, I`m generally not very technically inclined without having to read directions closely and often make the husband test it, then show me how to use it. Sad, but it`s true. This one I`m proud to say I did 100% on my own and with pregnancy brain (as in the brain that doesn`t usually think straight)! So yes, I`m quite proud of myself. Needless to say I`m highly impressed with the Zmart Remote and App. It`s such a simple device that`s easy to learn and use. It makes it convenient to control the television from your phone and now we no longer need to carry multiple remotes - I can just control it all with my phone! I definitely recommend it. I`m sure fellow "tech geeks" would appreciate as well. Hey, stocking stuffer idea for this holiday season!
