I checked out two great products from Sprouts:  

 

1) Sprouts Cold Remedy With the ever changing back and forth of the weather this year I think I`ve had more colds in this year than over the past few! Sprouts Cold Remedy is a unique blend of natural herbs to relieve cold symptoms. It`s made to relieve heavy Congestion, cough and is extremely effective for a sore throat. To use, start taking the Sprouts Cold Remedy immediately at the onset of symptoms. Take one dropper 2-3 times daily.If cold symptoms are already present, start by taking one dropper immediately and then repeat every 4 hours. Symptoms should improve significantly within 24 hours.  

 

For those concerned, this product contains the following ingredients: Echinacea purpuera herb, red root, green tea leaf, elderberry fruit, thyme herb, red clover herb, and myrrh gum. It's in a base of vegetable glycerin and water, which gives it a syrupy consistency. There is also a caution to not take this during pregnancy and to keep it out of the reach of children.  

 

I found the taste of this a bit strong when taking it on it`s own. I also tried it in some hot tea as I noticed others mentioning it and found it actually mixed in well without altering the taste of the tea. While the bottle is small in size, the amount you need to use is small so this bottle actually will last a bit longer than you would think. I found it helped relieve my cold symptoms I`ve been having and am quite impressed. Good or bad taste the point is it worked and that`s what matters to me!  

 

2) Sprouts Voice Remedy Sprout`s Voice Formula is a unique blend of natural herbs to restore your voice. It is ideal for Voice Hoarseness, Laryngitis, Inflammation and to loosen stubborn Phlegm. Sprout`s Voice Formula is made in a vegetable glycerin base which means no alcohol is used. This formula comes in a 2 oz liquid bottle with dropper which is 59 servings per bottle per serving 1ml (25 drops) in 2 oz of water. To use this, add 1 to 2 times per day when symptoms occur and take every 3-4 hours before performance with food.  

 

For those interested, the ingredients in this formula include: Slippery elm bark, Fennel seed, Fresh horseradish root, Thyme herb, Celery seed, and Horehound herb.   

 

As with the cold remedy formula, I found that the voice remedy formula has a stronger taste to it when taken alone. I found adding it to a hot tea was much better for me as it mixed in without altering the flavor of the tea.
