However, you have to spend $20 or more at one of its partners within the first 30 days of your membership. Points can be redeemed via Amazon and Visa gift cards, and you can also use rewards as travel miles through your United Mileage Plus account.

 

M1 Finance is a zero-commissions robo-advisory investment platform with brokerage accounts, digital checking accounts and lines of credit. It automates maintenance and simplifies construction of your investment portfolio. Once you create a portfolio, M1 utilizes its trading system to automate all of your trading activity. You can invest in the morning or the afternoon session, or both, when you have more than $25,000 equity in your portfolio. You can also borrow up to 40% of your portfolio’s value with rates as low as 2%. You can also earn 1% cashback on eligible purchases made with M1 Spend Visa debit card. That’s not all. M1’s credit card offers up to 10% cash back and you can reinvest the cash you earn.

 

If you have a spare car in the garage, you can rent it out via Turo, a peer-to-peer car rental platform. It provides a calculator that can be used to determine how much money you could potentially make in a month. The company claims $706 per month in average income for anyone looking to rent their vehicle on Turo. To book a car, you must create a Turo account, have a valid driver’s license, and get approved to drive on its platform. In the US, Turo offers protection against theft and physical damage as well as $750,000 third-party automobile liability insurance.
