With the recent events of COVID-19, most people are or have been in lock down. Going out in public as little as possible and not having a chance to see familiar faces can really take a toll on a person. So, how are you handling it?
I found that many people are taking up home projects such as redecorating their home, finally getting those
Canadian Doors. Others are simply decluttering and removing excess
junk they have been holding on to for what seems like forever. I know that is the route I have personally taken and I must admit, it feels great to finally get rid of so much unused stuff!
Other people may want to use this time to work out and get in shape. After all, there is no reason not to when you have excess time on your hands.
Some people may have taken on some more elaborative projects; such as an automotive project. Those types of projects take quite a bit of time and can really keep you busy. This is especially true if you are restoring or rebuilding a vehicle. With all this additional time being at home, one could finally get that custom LS complete engine from
turnkey crate engines that they have always wanted!
If you have been stuck at home and just trying to keep your mind occupied, there is always plenty to do. If you need ideas, a quick internet search will pull up a TON of do-it-yourself type projects starting from small to large tasks. Start with something simple. Maybe try some new recipes. Maybe try a simple craft project. Even rearrange a room. It doesn’t have to be anything huge. If you have a ton of extra time, consider taking a new educational course online. Your options are endless.
No matter the project you choose, find something you enjoy. Try new things and discover something new. One keyword of advice, however, if you wear a smartwatch, make sure to keep it protected with the
best apple watch protection or simply remove it during your projects to protect it. Repairing or replacing them does not come cheap!
Did you find something you particularly enjoyed? I'd love to hear about your experience!
