Welcome to today's post! It's a chocolate-induced, decadent, delicious post that we're sure you will love. So, if eating things that are healthy and yummy is on your agenda for today, you've come to the right place.
So, what is the recipe we're talking you up about? 3 Ingredient Chocolate Pots. They taste like a creamy chocolate truffle, have the consistency of a rich pudding, and are as refreshing as a classic fudge popsicle in the summer.
Here's a breakdown of the ingredients, and why we love them.
DATES
Oh, dates. These oval-shaped fruits are nature's candy. Smooth, sweet, and satisfying. They've made their way into our recipe since they are the perfect consistency to keep things together while producing a faux-gelatinous texture to the pot. Plus, they have the natural benefits of being high in fiber. Which is a win for your body.
ALMOND MILK
Why didn't we choose regular milk? Well, then this recipe wouldn't be vegan-friendly! Not only that, it blends well with the cacao to make for a slightly chocolate-nut flavor, which after all, is irresistible.
CACAO NIBS
A healthier take on chocolate, cacao nibs are the purest form of chocolate. It packs a bit of bitter sweetness that leaves you with no guilt, like some chocolate bars do. Chockful of magnesium and sulfur, these little guys boast a strong nutrient profile.
