Back in high school, I was always fascinated by the idea of getting free stuff — though I honestly didn't think it was truly possible. Then I discovered that companies online were actually offering free samples of their products. This was back in the days of dial-up internet and Windows 95, and I was thrilled just to get a free sticker in the mail!

 

That small discovery lit a spark. I started a blog as a way to keep track of all the freebies I was signing up for — nothing fancy, just a hobby to organize what I'd requested and what had arrived. I wasn't trying to build an audience or grow anything. I was just bored and curious.

 

But somewhere along the way, I found myself spending hours making the site look just right, posting consistently, and slowly gaining readers I never even tried to attract. I discovered other sites were doing product reviews and giveaways, so I started incorporating those too. What began as a simple freebie tracker gradually grew into the full deal-sharing, review-writing, money-saving resource it is today — and I've been posting and sharing ever since.

 

I'm a proud New Orleans native, wife to my wonderful husband Eric, mother to two wonderful kids, and a lifelong animal lover with a serious soft spot for cats. Photography is one of my favorite creative outlets — I love capturing the beauty of everyday moments, whether that's the architecture of the French Quarter, a stunning sunset over the bayou, or something as simple as a perfectly plated meal.
