Personally, I have never tried Applied Consumer & Clinical Evaluations, however, many people who have absolutely swear by them! Basically, this method consists of various consumer testing methods, focus groups, as well as sensory panels. Think of this as a good way to become a local influencer. Sometimes you just get free products while other times you actually get paid cash! I mean, I’m no “chimney Scientist” however, it sounds like a pretty nice bargain to me!

 

Of course, my favorite option in the influencer world are sites that specifically connect bloggers to brands. This is called Influencer Marketing. Influencer marketing connects brands with the powerful voices of digital content creators. These connections spark authentic conversations around a brand message, leveraging the creator’s loyal and engaged following across social media channels while driving awareness and engagement. This option will definitely need a blog or website along with a social media presence on various platforms. The social media outlets and blog type you will need will vary on the brand you are working with.

 

Sounds like something you want to give it a try? Then my advice is to go set up that email account I mentioned at the beginning of this article then make some social media accounts. You will want to make an account on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for sure, however, Pinterest and Snapchat may be needed so it wouldn’t hurt to set those up either. After all, those are free to sign up for! If you want to start a blog, a quick internet search will show you various ways to do that as well and may also be free of charge.
