Forget shopping for summer hair products...make your own Herbal Hair Spray!
When it comes to hair maintenance in the summer, we all trend towards the lower end of the spectrum. After all, there's the days spent at the beach, the humidity, and worst of all, the thunderstorm days. With all those factors at play, it's no wonder why heated hair tools take a back seat, and most of us let our au naturale mane flow.
The key to keeping locks looking great and smelling great lies within the products you use. That's why we're introducing to you this DIY Herbal Spray to use this summer.
Filled with nutrients your hair will love, it'll give your shower time a little oomph. We've included traditional herbs used by women for centuries. These are:
Horsetail Liquid Extract:
Sourced from a grassy plant that belongs to the Equisetaceae family which has been around for 400 years, horsetail is a traditional herb. It's high in silica, which makes it a great addition to your beauty routine.
Rosemary Essential Oil:
Ah, the scent of herbal rosemary! Refreshing and slightly spicy, this scent is a great one for sunny summer days.
Lavender Essential Oil:
Since life is all about balance, we decided to throw in some soothing lavender essential oil. It blends beautifully with the earthy scents of horsetail and rosemary, toning down the herbal side of this spray, and transporting you to a spa with each use.
Now that we've covered the delicious scents and herbs involved in this herbal Hair Spray, we should make it.
