Did you think getting off with spring cleaning would hold you over for the rest of the year? We hope not. It's great if you cleaned a few months back, but think about all the things your house endured over the summer: guests, messy playdates, pets trekking in and out, barbecues, and sand dragged in from the beach. That's a lot, right?
This is why it's time for seasonal cleaning #2. Fall Cleaning. Wondering why this cleaning session is greater than the spring session? Here's why. First off, if you did spring cleaning, you likely did the whole organizational thing and down-sized. So there's no need to worry on that front. Second, you get to bring the fall season into your home with warming scents. Sure the spring's citrus aromas were great to awaken you, but nothing quite matches the spicy notes of autumn's arrival.
That being said, we're bringing you a few+
DIY cleaning solutions for the main rooms in your house. This way, you can welcome the new season in a sparkling clean way!
The Bathroom
The first place to start is the bathroom. Of course this is the one key area you clean often. Yet, we're giving you a way to deeply clean it. After all, it saw beach days, pool days, and the like. It needs a total scrub down. That means...we're going straight to the cabinets.
Cha-Changes Cabinet Cleaner
Featuring the blend of spicy and sweet, this spray uses Orange and Black Pepper Essential Oils since they are fall approved and can leave your bathroom with a welcoming aroma.

2 Drops Black Pepper 100% Pure Essential Oil
Mix the above together in a bowl with a spoon.
Bring into your bathroom and using a scrubbing brush, apply directly to the cabinets.
Wipe off with a damp cloth. See them shine!
The Bedroom
Your room can get dusty and messy, it's just a fact. You're in it a lot, whether you're sleeping or getting ready for the day. So that means it needs some TLC.
Spruced Up Linen Spray
This recipe brings together the best oils of the season in a convenient spray bottle. The result? A deliciously scented blend that makes your linens reminiscent of walks in the woods with leaves changing around you on a breezy afternoon.

15 Drops Bergamot 100% Pure Essential Oil
10 Drops Cinnamon Bark 100% Pure Essential Oil
Spray Bottle 2 Fl Oz Glass Amber

Mix the vodka, and essential oils together in a bowl.
Transfer to the spray bottle with the funnel. Shake to combine. Let sit for 20 minutes. Shake again.
Then fill the remaining space with filtered water.
Use as you please!
The Kitchen
Now for the grand finale: The kitchen! This, like the bathroom, has seen a number. The area of focus for fall cleaning, you ask? The oven. We're sure that's one region you neglected all summer long. Now, it's time to face up to it and wash away the grit and grime.
Goodbye Grease Scrub
This scrub will ward off any grease buildup that may have formed from all the cooking you did for your Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day parties. Made with rosemary and cedarwood oils, this crisply scented scrub will bring a burst of freshness to your kitchen.
.5 Cup Baking Soda
4 Tbsp Water
8 Drops Rosemary 100% Pure Essential Oil
6 Drops Cedarwood 100% Pure Essential Oil
Mix the above together to form a paste
Using gloves, apply the paste on the entire inner surface of your stove--don't miss any parts!
Let sit over night and then wipe it all clean with a damp hand towel.
While there are a bunch of other areas to clean in each room, we've focused on the areas you may forget! Feel free to get creative and mix together your favorite essential oil blends for added scent to clean the toilet, closets, and more.
