Breakfast is served on a silver platter with these deliciously easy and nutritious egg recipes! Celebrate Saturday the best way: inside (or in the backyard) with your loved ones!
Eggs are not only a staple breakfast item, they are also really versatile. They can either be fancy or simple, and no matter how the dice is tossed, they never take that long to make. With that in mind, it seemed on par to dedicate this weekend’s post to the love affair we have with this food.
Eggs in A Cloud
Unless you’ve been living under a social media rock, cloud eggs are blowing up the world of food. These pretty eggs are so much more than good looks. They are simple to make and nutritious! Consisting of a few ingredients and even fewer steps, it’s basically a no-brainer to make on the weekend. Here’s how to do it:
You’ll Need:
+ 4 eggs
+ ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
+ 2 tsp Basil Leaf Cut & Sifted Organic (or herb of choice)
To Make:
Separate the yolks of your eggs from the whites. Put each yolk in one bowl.
In a small bowl whisk the egg whites to form peaks. Then add the basil, and parmesan cheese.
Once mixed, line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place the egg white mixture on the paper and make a well (this will house the yolk later)
Bake for 3 minutes.
Add the yolk.
Bake until the yolks are cooked (2-3 minutes)
Remove and add salt/pepper – enjoy!
