When you reach 30, there are certain milestones that you personally want to have achieved. Though, the skill of cooking may not be one them. We don't blame you, since being able to perfect the art of not burning everything that enters your oven is not of concern in your 20's. Yet, as you enter your 30's, life gets a bit more toned down and home dinners with friends are likely to increase (in place of your social Saturday nights).

So today we bring to you a few go-to recipes to have on hand Before You Turn 30 (or while you're currently in your 30's). While a few are still pasta-oriented, the goal isn't to learn how to make a souffle, but rather how to impress friends with small tweaks.

Let's get to them.
