When you reach 30, there are certain milestones that you personally want to have achieved. Though, the skill of cooking may not be one them. We don't blame you, since being able to perfect the art of not burning everything that enters your oven is not of concern in your 20's. Yet, as you enter your 30's, life gets a bit more toned down and home dinners with friends are likely to increase (in place of your social Saturday nights).
So today we bring to you a few go-to recipes to have on hand Before You Turn 30 (or while you're currently in your 30's). While a few are still pasta-oriented, the goal isn't to learn how to make a souffle, but rather how to impress friends with small tweaks.

Recipe 1. Healthier Turkey Meatball Stroganoff
If you want to wow your friends and whip together something that is both delicious as it is health(ier), you should aim for the below dish. It only takes about 35 minutes to make!
What You Need:
+ 1 Tsp. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
+ 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
+ 1 LB. Ground Turkey (Organic)
+ 1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs (Whole Wheat)
+ 1 Egg, Beaten
+ 1/4 Cup Chopped Parsley, Divided
+3 TBSP. Fat Free Milk
+ 3/4 Cups Water
+ 1/2 Cup Light Sour Cream
+ 2 tbsp all purpose flour
+ 2 teaspoons tomato paste, 2 teaspoons Beef Bouillon
+ 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon paprika
+ 8 ounces sliced Cremini mushrooms

Recipe 2. Homemade Tomato Sauce
The next recipe is a breeze. Yet, impressive. You know when you go to an Italian restaurant and have the best, authentic marinara sauce? Now you can be the source of that deliciousness Before You Turn 30 with the following recipe.
What You Need:
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, Finely Chopped
1 Can of Tomatoes (Crushed is preferred)
1 Tsp. Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
1/8 Tsp. Black Peppercorns Organic
Steps To Make:
First, warm a saucepan over med-high heat. With the olive oil. Saute the garlic until golden.
Next, add the rest of your ingredients.
Stir, and add additional salt/pepper to taste.
Enjoy with raviolis, gnocchi, eggplant parmesan, etc.
Recipe 3. Baked Salmon
What You Need:
+ A fresh filet of Sockeye Salmon
+ Salt
+Pepper
The Steps To Make:
+ Simply rub the fresh filet with 1 tsp, of Olive Oil. Sprinkle Salt and Pepper on top.
+ Bake for about 20 minutes in an oven set to 350.
+ The fish should be pinkish and cooked thoroughly.
+ Top with some sauce and enjoy!
