Picture this. Thanksgiving comes, and you have friends or family over to eat the hearty meal you’ve made. You’re proud and they’re full. Yet, the thing you figured was coming, came…you have Leftover Turkey meat!
Scratching your head, you think, what can be made? Turkey sandwiches for the next few days? A chili? We have something even better, a bit longer lasting, and easy to incorporate into your meal prepping routine…A Leftover Turkey Soup!
If you’re all about saving and storing like us, this post will be the green light for turkey goodness you’ve been waiting.
Tryptophan should be worn off just enough to get you into the kitchen to cook one last turkey meal.
Let’s start.
- In A Stock Pot
- 1. Over Med-High heat, melt the butter. Add in the powder, onion, the pepper, and sauté.
- 2. Add in the Turkey Stock, Whisk together.
- 3. Let simmer for 15 minutes
- 4. Add meat and quinoa.
- 5. Simmer until cooked.
- 6. Enjoy!
