I have wavy, thick, hair so a good straightener and good curling iron are important because I have learned that not just anything will work for me. While I have found straighteners that work great for me, I had yet to find a curling iron to work great for me. The AleoBeauty Twist Straightening Iron is just amazing! You can see in my unboxing video how impressed I was with the design and just the overall unique look and function of this device. Remember, this was an unboxing and absolute first impression.

 

This straightening/curling iron offers four adjustable temperature options: 140°C for damaged hair; 180°C for thick or naturally curly hair; 200°C for thick and hair; 220°C for super thick hair. I love having various options available and I love the ease of use of turning the device on and adjusting the temperatures. As noted in the video, though, one thing I'm not a fan of is the temperature being in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit. Luckily, there is a description on the website that says which temperature to use for what hair so it makes it easier to determine which setting would work for me.

 

The hair straightener also offers dual voltage and a 360° swivel salon grade cord. This makes using the straightener a lot easier with a lot less chance of the cord getting tangled up compared to those non-swivel cords. Another feature I absolutely love is that auto shut-off feature which will turn the device off after 60 minutes. This is just a nice safety feature for the forgetful type (such as myself)! 

This 2 in 1 straighter and curling iron is great for all hair types. However, I found the straightening part to not glide down as smoothly as other devices. It does work, I just don't feel it going down on my thick and wavy hair as smoothly as it could when compared to past experiences. Wait, don't run off! The curling iron feature of this device totally redeems it, though! I have yet, until now, found a great curling iron that's easy to use and actually works in my hair. THIS device WORKS in my hair to curl it! I normally just want my hair straight anyway, but there are occasions when I'm getting dressed up and would love to do curls. I found making the curls was quick, easy and didn't come out looking "funny" as with other curling irons I have used in the past. So for that very reason, I am totally in love with the device! 

Needless to say, I am definitely a fan of this device and the fact that it's affordable just makes it amazing!
