Easter is April 21st, are you ready?
With Easter just a bunny hop away (April 21st), I would like for you to consider some of these adorable (non-candy) Easter Basket ideas! From lovable plush products that hug you back to toys that encourage STEAM learning and inspire children to unplug and play, I have made it easy for you to find the perfect gift for everyone in the family!
While it may be last minute, it is certainly not too late to find the perfect Easter gift! Take a look:
Magformers new 60 piece Animal Jumble set is the perfect introductory set for imaginative creators. Children will enjoy using Magformers pieces to neatly stack or they can use the clip on faces to make different jungle animals. Young creators can also use geometric pieces to build different animals. Each geometric shape contains magnets that never reject, so you’ll always hear the Magformers click. When playtime is over, use the magnetic power to simply stack and store.
As a homeschooling mom of both a 5th grader and a pre-schooler, I absolutely LOVE this. Not only are the pieces well made, but it's a fun way to get the brain working and thinking. The pieces easily connect together with the magnetic force and stay in place surprisingly well. With this particular set, you received 60 pieces: 8 triangles, 27 squares, 2 pentagons, 2 hexagons, 2 isosceles triangles, and 2 trapezoids. I found that while this geared towards children, it can be used to stimulate the mind of both children and adults alike. I particularly like working my children's brains, but in a fun way where they don't even realize they are learning and this is perfect for that need.

These ducks are mold-free due to our special hole-less design, and, yes they do float! Great for kids and adults alike. Collect them all!
I received two rubber ducks to check out and they are absolutely adorable! My kids were too excited to have a couple of new bath toys. What I love is how well the ducks are made and constructed. Additionally, these are not plain or boring rubber ducks. No, these are exciting characters and Wild Republic offers a variety of rubber duck characters to choose from! Talk about the perfect filler item for all ages!
Last, but not least, on my Easter Basket Gift Ideas list is the smART sketcher® projector, a $59.99 value.
The smART sketcher® Projector injects fun into drawing, coloring and writing with a simple-to-use app or preloaded SD cards. Step-by-step instructions guide small or large hands through the entire process. Download photos from any smart device or insert pre-loaded themed activity packs. Crayons, markers, pencils, and music add finishing touches. Extension packs extend the play with more pictures, letters, numbers, and spelling activities. The possibilities are endless!
As I mentioned previously, I am a homeschooling parent. I love the idea of this for teaching my oldest how to draw and my youngest to practice writing/tracing his letter. From the start, the set up was easy as was using the projector. I like that you have the option to plug in or use batteries. The projection works best in a dimly lit room, but it does work in the day as well (just hard to see in direct sunlight). You can also use the projector with or without the app. The way it works it that it projects the image onto your paper so you learn to draw yourself, not just trace. The app itself syncs with the projector with more slides and options giving you a variety to work with. My 5-year-old and 11-year-old daughter can easily navigate the app and projector without any help from me; so it’s pretty comprehensive. You can even take pictures and draw those too, which is a blast! My kids started with the basic items available on the app before experimenting with random pictures they took around the house. I would suggest keeping the box for storage between uses as to not lose anything. Overall, I’m really impressed with how user-friendly, kid-friendly, and the fact it actually teaches drawing. Way cooler then I expected!!
