I generally am not a fan of shoe inserts. The ones I have tried in the past just don`t feel comfortable or simply do not fit in my shoes right. I wear a size 6 in womens shoes and found these to fit
perfectly into my Sketchers tennis shoes. To apply the to the shoe is actually much easier than others I used. Peel the backing off and insert it to the shoe. It`s not so much a sticky backing, but a gripping type of backing - similar to what they have on some mouse pads or similar non-slip products. It`s not overly sticky so it can easily be removed for whatever reason, but it stays in place while you wear them.
One thing I usually have issues with when wearing insoles is that they usually aren`t comfortable on the feet. Either the arch is too high or not enough. I`ve even had it where the material used just didn`t feel so great on my feet. You know, touching it in the packaging it feels firm and comfortable, but when actually using they turn out to basically be junk...
Not with these, though. These feel firm, yet cushioned in the package and that feeling is also reflected to your feel. The arch cushion isn`t too high or too low, either. It`s basically perfect; at least for my needs. My foot pain tends to be in the arch or sides of my feet the most. I don`t have a huge arch, but I don`t have flat feet either. When using these in my shoes, I felt like my foot had the right amount of support and that these were perfect for my foot needs.
I have yet to try them in flats or high heels since I very rarely wear those. However, as far as the "everyday heels" go, they`re wonderful. While these may not be perfect or work for everyone, they definitely did for me. One thing I have learned about shoe insoles is that it takes trying a variety of brands and styles to find the right one that will work for your feet. If you`re just getting started, I recommend giving these a try as well as other styles and brands to help you discovered the right product to work for your feet.
