If you are in need of a good book to read, Might I suggest
Be Careful What You Wish For by Laura J Wellington? It must be a pretty good book considering they already have four film houses interested in film rights both in the US and internationally as it meets the new guidelines set forth by The Academy Award Association!
About the Book
Evie wished for an uncommon love. What she got was otherworldly...and a man named Rick Remington. He would open her eyes to much more than a life of wealth and privilege. He would help her see a bond that crossed all boundaries when facing the unimaginable. My Thoughts
This book Is not a long read. It is only 204 pages which is perfect for those who enjoy a good book, but simply do not have the time to put into a long read.
There is really quite a lot to this book, more than I had expected. The book has love, loss, identity, the understanding and importance of having faith. It is the belief that despite the trials and tribulations you may endure that pain does not last always. In this story, one woman learns who she is and what she is capable of, and in doing that, she can reclaim her heart’s desire.
Evie, the main character, yearns for is an unconventional type of love in which she finds it in Rick Remington. They fall in love, get married, and have children. Unfortunately, their fairytale love story does not last forever as you come to learn that Rick has cancer.
This story is about forgiveness and learning how to let go. With this book, I was on an emotional roller coaster. One minute I was trying to hold back tears while the next I would have a huge smile from happiness on my face. I got lost in this book and would highly recommend it. It truly is a beautiful read!
