As a blogger there's two things that stand out to me that I need: 1) My daily morning cup of coffee and 2) A place to jot down my random blog post ideas. I mean the thing is, as much as I'd love to post all my ideas up or schedule them up at one time - it's just not realistic. There's just not enough time in the day to get it all done. I find I do my best work when I'm in the mood to do it; whether it be a blog review or a full on written up post. So even if I have a great idea, it may not be the best time to post it. Well, with that being said, there are just two items that really stood out to me, as a blogger, that made my "must have" list: a pretty mug and a pretty notebook.

Design By Humans was born in 2007 with the simple vision of bringing artists from around the globe together to give them a platform to produce wearable art that tells a story, strengthens humanity and inspires life through creativity and design. Embedded in the culture of Design By Humans is a passion for brilliantly designed tees, detailed illustration and a strong appreciation for all things creative.

As you all know I work with DBH pretty regularly. I have had tank tops, t-shirts and hoodies from them and this was yet another wonderful experience. Once again, DBH delivered and sent another great quality product. The design was once someone else's piece of art, which was then turned into a design to use on the DBH products. Rather than clothing though, I went for a notebook and mug. Here's what I think...

The Mug {$15 value}

Like I said, I enjoy drinking my morning coffee and when I saw this mug my initial thought was "Wow! This is so stunning!" The design was just as gorgeous in person, if not nicer than the image shows online. The mug is high quality made of porcelain as most mugs are. I feel the handle is attached securely and just the overall feel of the mug is a good quality weight and feel. It holds the standard coffee mug size of liquid.

The Notebook {$12 Value}

I got the small lined notebook so I would have a place for all my random blog notes. I have a bad habit of wasting a lot of sticky notes for such things so a notebook dedicated for that purpose was perfect for me! This particular notebook measures 5.25" x 8.25" in size. It's perfect as it fits on the little shelf under my computer desk where I keep other small important notebooks. One downside to it is that it uses a glue binding rather than a spiral binding so you can't easily flip the page. However, for the purpose I am using it for - to jot a quick note then be done with it - it's not a big deal. The design on the notebook is beautiful and looks just as the image on the computer.

Plus, it actually goes well with the colorful mug. I thought that through didn't I?! My overall experience through my time working with DBH has been nothing short of wonderful! As usual, the details from the design on my items are amazing. The image and details you see on the screen are the same exact details you get on your product. I can see every detail in my images as I saw them on my computer screen. I have quite a few clothing items from Design By Humans, as previously mentioned, and have washed/worn the items multiple times.

They are still holding up strong without cracking or peeling in the designs. This is a huge plus to me. The fact you can spend your money on a unique design and it will last is certainly a plus in a world full of poorly made clothing. Can't you tell I've had my fair share of disappointing clothing?! Nothing like buying some clothes only for them to start falling apart after a couple of washes. Luckily, that's not an issue here.

Needless to say, I can honestly recommend Design By Humans for anyone wanting your own unique wardrobe!
