Valentine`s Day is just around the corner. It`s less than a month away and is one of (if not the) biggest flower-giving day of the year. Are you ready? If you want to get your someone special some gorgeous flowers that aren`t the same old roses that everyone else gives; may I recommend BloomThat? If you`re not familiar with BloomThat, they partner with world-class farmers and growers across the globe to deliver the freshest, seasonal stems from the places they grow best. Unlike other flower delivery sites, instead of offering 100 options, they put together a curated selection of bright blooms and fun surprises designed to make you look good and the recipient feel great. Not sure which option to go with, let me recommend, to you, the same one I selected: The Winnie. Dressed to impress with premium roses, festive silver brunia, and a stunning pink protea… she`s better than ever and extra crush-worthy!
I have to say, to start, the order process for the flowers was super easy. I selected what I want, filled out my information, selected delivery date and checked out. It is important to know, some things may not be available in your area, but it will let you know this during check out. I would like to suggest, if possible, for BloomThat to make it where the user can check from that item page if the item(s) can be delivered to their area. One issue I noticed was that it doesn`t tell you until checkout that something cannot be delivered and it does not specify which item. I`m not sure if this is a temporary website flaw or how it was designed, but fixing this would make for better user experience. Just a suggestion, not to nit-pick things. I had my flowers selected to be delivered ASAP.
So for my area, the soonest I could get them is within 2-days. For other locations, they offer the same delivery. Unlike other flower delivery sites, this one does not use local florist shops, but rather, they ship it via FedEx. I was pleased when my package arrived with how well it was packaged for the shipment. The flowers had a wet sponge at the ends, which was inside of plastic wrapping with heavy-duty rubber bands holding it into place. This is to help the flowers get water during transport. Also, the vase is just as shown in the advertisement. It was strapped into place by two super heavy-duty zip ties. Basically, they took the precautions needed to make sure it arrived to me undamaged. The flowers themselves were absolutely gorgeous! I am a fan of tropical and wildflowers. Basically, I like uncommon things. Sure, common flowers are still pretty, but it`s the unique and different ones that I really love.
This particular bouquet was a mix of various colors and flowers. Plus, the leaf trimmings were appropriate and beautiful too! I was rather happy that everything arrived quickly and in such wonderful condition. All of the flowers were alive and none were wilting. The big pink one did have some brown spots on it, but once I got the flowers in water, they all opened up a bit more and those brown spots didn`t really stick out. It was just that one flower that had issues and with 2 days in a dark box, it`s understandable. To top things off, even the cats liked the box the flowers arrived in. Hey, a win/win for everyone! Needless to say, this was a wonderful experience that we had with BloomThat. Friendly customer service, fast shipping, careful packaging, and most importantly - stunningly beautiful flowers! I was impressed. If you want a reliable company with gorgeous blooms, try BloomThat!
