I am a
huge coffee drinker. I drink a cup of coffee daily, sometimes two cups. I particularly am a fan of flavored coffee. So of course, trying two flavors from Two Rivers Coffee Company was amazing. I tried the Hazelnut and Fuhgeddaboutit dark roasted flavors from the
Brooklyn Coffee line and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
About Brooklyn Bean Roastery Coffee
We know where to find the best slice, the best donut shop, the perfect apartment on the best block in the right neighborhood. We grew up with an appreciation for quality, originality, and local pride, and we’ve based our company on those values.
We use the highest quality Arabica beans for each of our blends and roast them right here in New York. Brooklyn itself is always diverse and never boring, so we offer a variety of flavors to suit every palette.
Our goal is to provide a great cup of coffee that reminds you of the sights and sounds of Brooklyn. Whether you prefer a smooth, mild blend that makes you feel at home, or a rich, dark roast that takes you back to a wild night you spent in the city, Brooklyn Bean Roastery has the perfect blend for you.
I tried both of these coffee flavors and I was absolutely thrilled. Each coffee was flavorful and bold. While I did think they were both a bit strong on their own, I found they balanced out perfectly when I added whipped cream and topped it off with some pumpkin spice syrup. Yes, I`m one of those "pumpkin spice everything" people around this time of the year. So when I combined the toppings, these coffees were absolutely
amazing!
I love that these fit conveniently into my standard keurig machine. Each coffee is individually packaged into a K-cup for a single use. Not to mention, none of the coffees were busted during shipment. I can`t tell you how many times I`ve order k-cups only for half of them to arrive busted or lots of loose coffee in my box. These arrived without any leaks or issues.
While I loved both coffees, I have to say the hazelnut really was my favorite. I love how the flavor kind of just pops out at you. The Fuhgeddaboutit was quite bold as well, but I guess maybe not as sweet. I`m not sure if that`s the right term I want to use. Don`t get me wrong, it`s delicious, I just can`t quite seem to find the wording to describe what makes it different from the hazelnut. In either case, this brand is not weak like other brands or taste watered down. I find nothing more disappointing than watery tasting coffee and that`s not a problem with the Brooklyn brand. Needless to say, I had a pleasant experience with this coffee and have been drinking it every day, over my regular brand, since it arrived!
